Ou inversement : que se passe-t-il si l\u2019on retire l\u2019\u0153uvre d\u2019art et que l\u2019on se contente de regarder le cadre ? <em>Frames <\/em>explore cette relation entre le cadre et l\u2019\u0153uvre d\u2019art, en pla\u00e7ant l\u2019art physique de Not Standing dans des cadres visuels en plein air.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alexander Vantournhout et ses trois partenaires de jeu se concentrent \u00e0 nouveau sur l\u2019art physique dans sa forme la plus pure. M\u00e9ticuleusement, les quatre performeur\u00b7euses r\u00e9alisent des sculptures corporelles en constante \u00e9volution dans les cadres d\u2019observation.&nbsp; Les corps s\u2019entrelacent, se suspendent et grimpent sur les cadres, marchent \u00e0 l\u2019envers et d\u00e9fient la gravit\u00e9 ainsi que votre imagination. Chaque mouvement est une recherche permanente d\u2019\u00e9quilibre, ax\u00e9e sur la coop\u00e9ration et le contr\u00f4le du corps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les spectateur\u00b7ices peuvent admirer le cadre sous tous ses angles : de face, de c\u00f4t\u00e9 et m\u00eame d\u2019en bas. Les perspectives se renversent, la logique physique semble dispara\u00eetre. <em>Frames<\/em> vous convie \u00e0 une exploration d\u2019installations chor\u00e9graphiques qui d\u00e9fient les perspectives artistiques et visuelles, les transformant en po\u00e9sie physique au sein de l\u2019espace public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Au cours de la derni\u00e8re d\u00e9cennie, Alexander Vantournhout a cr\u00e9\u00e9 une \u0153uvre impressionnante et diversifi\u00e9e, avec des performances de groupe comme <em>Foreshadow<\/em> (2023) et <em>Contre-jour<\/em> (2021), des solos comme <em>VanThorhout<\/em> (2022) et <em>ANECKXANDER<\/em> (2015) et des duos comme <em>every_body (2024) <\/em>et<em> Through the Grapevine<\/em> (2020). Avec <em>Frames<\/em>, il tisse une suite \u00e0 la performance in situ <em>SCREWS<\/em> (2019).
