For the very first time, Pepijn Ronaldo takes to the stage alone.
SOLO is a journey to find his own artistic voice, in a world full of dreams and expectations.

Pepijn walks the path of seven generations of comédiens. As a young boy, he took his first steps on the stage of Circus Ronaldo. After completing his training at the École Internationale de Théâtre Lassaad, he returned to his family at Circus Ronaldo. He performed in the productions Applause, Da Capo, and Sono io? — a show he created together with his father, Danny Ronaldo, which earned him the award for ‘Best Actor’ in 2022.

Until now, his artistic path was largely shaped by those around him. But now, it’s time for Pepijn to set his own course.

SOLO is a performance about ‘the moment’.
That moment you look forward to as a child – and reflect on as you grow older.

In an intimate dialogue between performer and audience, Pepijn searches for the balance between his own dreams and the expectations of the people watching.

Is it all about spectacle and tricks?
Or is it rather about the deeply human emotions that lie beneath – doubt, fear, joy?
